The challenges facing young Arabs today can’t be solved by governments alone. Or by the private sector. Or by development organizations. It will take a combined effort from corporations, non-governmental organizations, governments, universities, financial institutions, media and others to create the jobs and economic opportunities that young people need.
Recognizing this, Silatech works with a wide variety of partners from various sectors throughout the region. As a small but innovative and agile organization, we look to make the most impact by empowering our partners on the ground.

Development- and Youth-Centered NGOs
Silatech works with a wide assortment of non-governmental organizations in the “development ecosystem.” If you represent a development or youth-centered NGO in the region, have a look at what Silatech is doing in your country, and see what our programs are about. Our innovative Taqeem Fund is the first "monitoring and evaluation" fund of its type in the region, helping social enterprises and youth-focused NGOs across the Arab world to measure and improve their impact. For more information on how the Taqeem Fund might benefit your organization, click here.
Smart public policy is perhaps the single most important tool to creating jobs and economic opportunity for young people. We focus on applied research about youth economic inclusion, and building local capacity to utilize research in formulating sound policy and practice. If you represent a government in the region interested in specialized research or policy advisory services, we may be able to help.
Colleges and Universities
Effective career guidance and counseling are virtually non-existent throughout much of the Arab world, and young people often have little or no formal guidance about the career options open to them. We partner with colleges and universities to offer a psychometric assessment tool (Tamheed) tailored specifically for the Arab world, as well as specialized training for Tamheed career guidance advisors. For more information on how Silatech can enrich the career guidance your college or university can offer to students, click here.
Contrary to popular belief, financial products designed for the high-growth youth market do not necessarily carry more risk for financial institutions than those designed for other age groups. We work with financial institutions to structure loans and other products for young people, as well as provide technical assistance in their design and deployment. We advise companies about how they can make their business strategies and investments more "youth friendly." How can you orient your company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to incorporate the youth agenda? For more information on Silatech’s CSR Advisory Services, click here.
Public awareness is an essential part of the effort to support the youth agenda. If you are a journalist, presenter, blogger or commentator interested in boosting public awareness of the challenges that young people face, our research, experts and experience can help.
