Global Ambassador - Ahmed Al-Shuqairi

 

Ahmed Al Shukairi is a well-known television presenter and host of the popular television series Khawater (“Thoughts”) and previous host of Yalla Shabab (“Come on guys”). Beloved by young people across the Middle East, Mr. Al-Shuqairi, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, focuses his time on helping young people grow—in their faith, in service, and in knowledge of the world and their role in making it a better place. His current show, Khawater tackles topics that concern the daily lives of young people. The show has received high praise and in the words of one young viewer “[Khawatar is] pretty much my addiction every Ramadan.” The show covers social, religious and intellectual topics in a relevant and compelling way, to help young people grow in their knowledge and understanding of the world, their faith and how they can be more innovative to deal with their own challenges and address those of their countries and the world.
